Abstract

Baishuijiang Biosphere Reserve locates between the Wen County and Wudu County of Gansu Province. It was established at 1963 with an area of 91,000 hactres. The most important conservation targets are many precious wild species such as giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) and dove tree(Davidia involucrata), and the relating ecosystems and biodiversity. It is one of the three most important reserves conservating giant panda, the only nature reserves that has north subtropical landscapes in Gansu Province.
